Your Session & Signing Out
How sessions work and how to sign out securely.
For security, your Lapdog session will automatically expire after a period of inactivity.
Session timeout
Your session lasts for approximately 3 hours of inactivity. After that, you'll be asked to log in again. This protects your account if you forget to sign out.
How to sign out
- Click Sign out in the navigation bar.
- You'll be taken back to the login page.
Best practices
- Always sign out when using a shared or public computer.
- If you notice any suspicious activity on your account, change your password immediately.
- Keep your email account secure, as it's used for password resets.
