The Approval Process
How provider profiles are reviewed and approved.
All providers on Lapdog go through an approval process before they can accept bookings.
Steps to approval
- Complete your profile — fill in all required fields, including personal details, provider type(s), services, qualifications, and pet comfort settings.
- Upload documents — provide your police check (must be within the required validity period), qualifications, insurance, and any other certificates. All required documents must be current and approved.
- Profile review — our team reviews your profile and documents for compliance.
- Interview — we may arrange a phone or video call to learn more about your experience.
- Approval — once approved, your profile is marked as active and you can start accepting bookings.
Document compliance
Your documents are checked for compliance as part of the approval process. Required documents must be uploaded, approved, and not expired before your account can be activated. See Uploading Your Documents for details on document types and expiry.
